Why am I not a nationalistic and religious person,and why,most probably,I will never be?
Or how governments and religion brainwash people?
There are,generally,2 types of countries:ideologic and nationalistic.Ideologic countries are those,which have built their republics based on some ideology/belief.These are USA,Canada,former USSR and Australia.You just can’t refer these countries to one specific nation.Capitalism and communism are two major ideologies in the world.There are lots of countries,who combine both ideology and nationalism.For instance,these are Saudi Arabia(islam and arabs),Iran(islam and persians),China(communism and chinese) and even Poland(christianity and polanians).
Although every country has its own ideology whether it is capitalism,communism or religion,these are not considered major and essential in nationalistic countries.Initially,nationalistic countries have been established in order to gather the specific nation into one piece of land and kept them there.And then,ideology/belief have been developed through nation’s own choice(or maybe not!).
Nationalistic countries have been created under the idea of nation union.Israel,Azerbaijan,Armenia,Georgia,Russia,Ukraine,Uzbekistan,Pakistan and Turkey are all examples of nationalistic countries.
Now,why do I think that people can be brainwashed easily in nationalistic and religious countries?And what the heck I haven’t said that capitalism,liberalism and communism can brainwash people?
- Nationalism makes you think as other people in your nation think.Religion makes you think as prophets,imams and other religious “guru” think.
- Nationalism says,that your nation is the best,and other nations are not so good as yours.Religion says that your religion is right,and other religions are wrong.In Islam,you(maybe not!) treat Muslims as first-class people,and non-Muslims as a second-class.
- Nationalism wants you to be like everyone else in your nation.Religion wants everyone to wear the same thing,do same rituals and pray,using the same words.
- If president of some nation(let’s say,Egypt) said,that president of your country(for example,France) is ugly and he doesn’t have proper erection to have sex with his wife,so that,when TV shows his wife,she is always in bad mood because of sexual dissatisfaction,everyone in your nation will hate everyone,who lives in Egypt.Nobody cares if you have close friend,who lives in Egypt.You must also hate him.If someone will show pictures of naked prophet or burn book,that has been written(or may be copypasted from other religious book) a long time ago,you will hate him.In extreme case,you will cut his head.
- If you want peace and not war,you are not welcomed anymore in your country.If you are Muslim and you want to be a Christian,you will be given a death penalty.
- If your country have invaded some crap piece of land and you don’t get orgasm because of it,you are enemy.
Mass thinking is common in religious and nationalistic countries.Now,let me say,why I don’t think that communism and capitalism are bad.Both communism and capitalism encourages individualistic thinking.You have choice.You are less dependent on masses.Although communism countries hate religion and require you to be an atheist or theist,they still have some kind of choice.Communism give you freedom to work in any job you want without worrying about money,because government always will give it to you.Capitalism encourages you to be creative and choose your own character without being hated from society.
Now,you may say,well,most countries have capitalistic ideology.
And this is my answer:
Almost all nationalistic countries have capitalism and communism with strict limits.And these limits again are defined by a nation.In my own native country,there is no FREEDOM OF SPEECH and FREEDOM OF CHOICE,which are core components of liberalism and capitalism.
